I love the Edinburgh Festival 'cos I really rate live improv comedy. Will be there for the bank holiday weekend from this Wed.

I've done the Keswick Beer Festival and have seen a Robbie Williams tribute who nailed the audience. Coulda been RW himself! Attitude, stage presence, voice, audience reaction - incredible ... at a beer festival? Yeah!

I've done Womad. (World of Music and Dance at Reading) It was OK. Bought the CD of the band I liked best. But the CD was crap and I can't even remember their name now.

er that's it really. oh and Cropredy. Oh no! There you go I've admitted it. A folk festival. ah well, it was a good weekend with friends!

But I just watched highlights of V on ch4 - it looked amazing

Lowlight - The Streets? Didn't get them.

Highlight? Snow Patrol standing in for Oasis and doing Wonderwall. Oh jeez Wonderwall? Yep .. astounding.

Katy wotserface. can't stand the song - but the live performance? another one nailed.

Elbow? Elbow? who the f are Elbow? But simply awesome .. anyone agree?

That snippet of an interview with Lady Gaga? Yes I like her. Is her music any good? Really - I know the name. Have I heard a song? Maybe. I'm too old to know.

Wow. Wish I was half my age.

So.

Which Festival would you still like to go to? (and could you do it at your age?)

Rio?

Glastonbury?

Notting Hill?

Munich Beer?

Where?

Why?

And what's the best festival you've ever been to?

Woodstock? - no way!

I like Leeds - It can be pretty volatile, violent and at times a bit unpleasant, but it's never boring - that said, I sold teh tickets I bought last year for this year as the line up was dire - only decent bands that were on I have seen a thousand times!!!

Recorded V on digi box - It didn't look good to me, have to say! Too middle of the road, which can be a problem for V every year, as it's meant to be a festival that can appeal to all... Went there one year, cos Radiohead and Moz were headlining and they were great but the rest was twaddle! Girls Aloud? At a festival? I couldn't even be bothered to bottle em off!

Glastonbury is the best though - It's just got everything, so you can still really enjoy yourself when the line up isn't so great! Lowlands in the Netherlands is also great, as is benacasim (sp?) in Spain... Both cheaper than UK music fests, one is in the sun and neither try to rip you off beer/food wise!!!

GLASTONBURY..........no contest

the sheer amount of stuff to do and see makes it the best. you can go and not go see any bands and still stumble upon plenty of wierd and wonderful stuff to keep you occupied
and it is a proper varied line up (most types of music, comedy, theatre, circus etc) compared to all the other uk festivals......which to me seem a little narrow in their line ups

love glastonbury, best place on earth for me........mind u ive not been since 2000 :(

I went to BLOODSTOCK this year. It was my first 3-dayer and it was awesome!

3 days of proper metal - none of that watered down, emo drivel! I'm definitely going next year, even though I don't know who's playing yet.

Big Chill- Always good.

Solfest - next weekend! Always good and smaller than big chill.

MiniChill (Festinho) - Even smaller and really really good.

Off the Tracks - small with loads of real ciders!

Shambala - Great - but a bit like being in Sheffield!

Glastonbury is brilliant as an experience however it is absolutely huge. You tend to feel like you're walking for miles and miles a day. I am always exhausted when I get home! After a few years of Glastonbury and Leeds it was a revelation to go to a smaller festival. I went to Glade and Shambala in the same year which were both amazing.

Next year I'd like to work the festivals and get round ones that I wouldn't necessarily pay to go to like Latitude or Big Chill. Also I have always wanted to go to Bestival.
