I read that Dennis D'Ell died recently. He is the voice on the Honeycombs 'Have I The Right', a good old number one stomper from the 60's. Dennis came from Stepney and was a local hero around those parts.
Although his chart career with The Honeycombs, the group that had a girl drummer, was short lived, in 1967 he recorded solo a tune called 'Better Use Your Head' that became a northern soul anthem.
