Correct me if i'm wrong but i was walking home from work the other day past the old Classic rock bar building when i noticed something not quite right.
All the messages that were written on the walls in memory of Sass were no longer there - cleaned off.
Bit strange that someone should do this as supposedly it's getting demolished soon, and i also found it a bit disrespectful.
Like i said i only saw the building from the front so i'm not so certain on my facts but if anybody knows any different let me know.

Drove past it this afternoon and noticed it looked different but could not put my finger on it....yes cleaner I suppose, something has been happening in the last few days. But you dont clean a building prior to demolition???

I think they've just taken all the signs off haven't they? So it looks a bit sparse - giving an illusion of having been cleaned.

Not sure if someone will retain that sculpture set in the brickwork. Hope they do though. There's a website of Sheff street sculpture somewhere - and it features in that. Maybe they'll use it in the new building on that site.
