I train there most days and the Millhouses branch on Sunday's.

It's got everything you need for the reasonable price of around £33(?)/month - cheaper is you go in the daytime only.

It's not quite as good as Millhouses for the cardio machines but the resistance machines and free weights are much better IMO.

Go have a look, someone will show you around.

Me too Criag7777....;)

Worth the haggling and hanging back eh!!

They call it 'Associateship' rather than 'Membership'...My sister was gutted....she pays something like £33 a month a full £13 more than me!!

I went on to there website and there was something that says 1 day pass anyway i signed up for that then they rang me and said they no longer do that anymore but they could sort me deal out, first time they said they could sort me loads of personal sessions out then they offered it me cheaper this carried on each weekend till i said yeah i will take it
i was happy with what they offered me
just keep saying you are intrested but the fact they haven't got a pool puts you off
keep doing this for a few months and they will probably pay you for going

Its a crying shame about the lack of pool

Otherwise I think its cool - kinda pining for Virgin active but this is loads cheaper and 2 mins from my house. I also use the one in Huddersfield on the way back from work in t'week.

If they had a punchbag and a pool Id be laffin :hihi:

I don't find the gym intimidating even though i'm a skinny runt i go to the millhouses one though
just think to yourself they have probably been doing it for the last 20 years while we have been out enjoying ourselfs drinking till we pass out and eating junk food
plus did you know 1 of the main reasons for people joining a gym in there 30's is cause they were bullyied at school
I can remember reading that in a mens health magazine or somewhere
