Quite a few forummers are permanent residents in the USA. I ask them, do you regard yourself as "still British" or do you see yourself as an American. Where would your loyalties lie ?

I have been here since 2001, I have and always will regard myself as being British. I'm not sure I'll ever apply for citizenship, but part of me thinks that it's irresponsible not to attempt to vote the chimp's party out of office. Heh...(at least as the rules stand right now, he can't run again).

My wife is American and through birth, so is my daughter (a Texan, no less!). Above all else, my loyalties are to them - I would always choose whatever was best for them.
