What about Bubble and Squeak. I had a boy hamster called Basil for 3 years nearly. They are lovely little animals to have and very funny too. They will keep you amused for hours (when they are awake of course). Good luck and hope you find some names if you dont like my suggestion. Or Pip and Squeak. Trinny and Susannah, my brother had 3 female dwarf hamsters but one died. He called them, Sausage, Waffle and Cornflake.

You could go all traditional and go with Castor and Pollux? or maybe Romulus and Remus? Though if they were mine I would probably go with Fluff and Fuzz!!!

Erm.....they are dwarf hamsters, right?

You can't keep syrians in the same cage as they attack each other, and will kill.

I havent mentioned anything about Dwarf hamsters... seems to be everyone else thats had Dwarfs themselves lol

But the answer is yes... we're getting 2 Dwarf hamsters... they're from the same bred and already living together... so no worries there... they wont be fighting... (i should hope not anyway) also i dont think they are syrians :?

Thank you for your input :)

 Yay for new baby hamsters! :D Just keep an eye on them though Angel... dwarf hamsters are notoriously difficult to sex correctly. Last Easter my two little girl hamsters became two little hamsters and four teeny tiny hamsters  :o

The choice is endless. I have two guinea pigs that beat my rabbit up so they are called Ronnie and Reggie.

But how about, Horace and Doris, Bonnie and Clyde, Alf and Ralph, The Chuckle Brothers, Cannon and Ball, Blair and Bush etc. etc.

The names are... Harley and Candy... and believe me they are gorgeous... so tiny and cute... bless...

I've got a gerbil called Rommel (desert rat) that I acquired from a young friend who couldn't take it with him when he moved

'Don't worry' sez he
'it's really old and can't live much longer'

'Don't worry' sez me, the soft touch
'I'll be a comfort to it in it's old age'

That was nearly two years ago

The damn thing wont die! Despite repeated hints he's still trundling around in his own gimpy little way. He needs the help of a zimmer now to get to his food bowl but still manages to express his extreme disapproval of having a home help in to clean round him. He's brought the meals on two legs service to it's knees with his incessant demands on the crispy drawer in the fridge, I now only buy fruit n veg with his preferences in mind. He grumbles about me playing music and threatens me with the noise abatement lot. The old vandal keeps throwing his rubbish over the fence into my territory.

Where am I going wrong!!!!?

Has he got a portrait on a sunflower seed bag in the attic?

Did he sell his soul to the dark one in exchange for a long life and some honeyed nut nibbles?

Is he determined to outlive me?

*thinks...he'll probably suckseed...groan etc

Angel.....your pets sound lovely and I hope you get many hours...er...years enjoyment from them!

* I just hope you're young, that's all

;)

( :hihi: that description was funny :hihi: )

Do you suppose that your 'young friend's' parent couldn't break the sad news and replaced Rommel at some point? :suspect:
It would explain his reluctance to meet his maker, if he was actually Rommel II :D

I've had that suspicion in the back of my mind for some time now :suspect:

Every day I think longingly of the bookshelves I could have in that corner......*sigh

Every day I find myself humming Alice Coopers 'I love the dead' whenever I feed him, he seems impervious to hints tho

I guess he'll just have to become a comfort to me in my old age.....*bigger sigh

My last lot of hammies were called:-

Sybil and Polly (that was the girls, couldn't call the girls Basil and Manuel, now, could I? - my last boy syrians were Basil and Manuel)

I then got some russian dwarves, when Sybil and Polly passed.

They were called Eric and Ernie, on account of their short fat hairy legs.... yes i know ! groan!

my aunt had a pair of rats, called Benson, and Hedges!

Lol! They weren't lab rats were they?

My brother had a rat called Rufus which shared a tank with a gerbil. Whenever he ate Rufus would climb out of the tank, wend his merry way along the furniture to my brother and steal bits off his plate; then he would go all the way back to the tank, sometimes making two trips or more to feed the gerbil before coming back for his own scoobies
How sweet is that?

Everybody......big aaaah!

My two little 'boy' dwarf hamsters became 49 in the space of 9 weeks! (not my fault, someone looked after them in the holidays and didn't think to seperate them after the first lot of babies!!)
