I would be interested to hear from anyone who has recently undergone cataract surgery and has experienced side effects and especially problems with cloudy/unclear vision and how long it took to clear.

My grandma had a cataract operation a month ago. She had blurry vision for about 3-4 days and she can see fine now.

My dad had one eye done earlier this year, he had blurred vision for a good week or so, but it soon cleared up. He's due to have the other one done next month, so it hasn't put him off.

I was born with cataracts on both eyes and I had them removed in 1993 and 1994. The operations were a success and I can't remember any side effects - apart from my eyes being a bit sore.

If your vision is a bit blurry, it could be any number of things - remember your eye has been operated on and it has to get used to the new lens.

If things don't improve, I'd go and see your doctor, optician or specialist.
