I came down Fargate today the machines were digging up the cobble stones again.

To think these were laid by imported labour at whatever cost, can anybody explain to me why they have to come up again.

Cobblestones used to be set to last several lifetimes but each year the planners seem to come up with new plans which always involves ripping up the previous schemes regardless of the waste of rates monies.

It's a pity the streetforce teams are not employed filling in all the potholes in the roads and pavements.

I think somebody ought to get their priorities right.
