Im organising a stag weekend, for sometime in September ish. People based in Scarborough, Sheffield, and London, so somewhere in the middle would be good for everyone.

Dont want a complete p**s up, some sort of activity based weekend preferable.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I once sent my ex on a day out where he did 4 x 4 racing, Quad Bike, Formula Car Race, Skid Track, Skill Driving where you have a ping pong ball in a dish on the bonnet and you have to go around a course without it dropping out.

This was all at Silverstone, you could do that then go on the p**s up after.

I am sure they probably do this at other tracks too if you search around.

Also there are paintballing events all over the country again followed by p**s up is another option.

Dublin is a good hen/stag venue if you want to travel further afield.

I am going to a wedding on Friday and both stag and hens went to Prague.

Enjoy yourself wherever you end up.

How many of you are there? Why not hire a long boat on the Norfolk B roads? You can have a **** up at various pubs along the way?

You have to be careful to do something which is not too expensive, so that the people with less money are not excluded.

When Bish had his Stag Do we went Karting in rotherham, and it was a fantastic day out. We had a grand Prix and it lasted 2 or 3 hours. I am sick of people just wanting to go out and get beered up, some of us do that every weekend anyhow, and when you go abroad, it makes it a bit too exclusive.

And I have been on a few where the Groom is so scared of getting debagged or something, that he sneaks off early. Drinking stag dos are always rubbish, I've been on about 15 of them.

Here are the pics I put up on a little website, can you spot two forummers?

Dont go to Dublin! It costs a feckin fortune (5-6 euros a pint!) and is overrun by english stag parties, especially temple bar. Get a ryanair to tallin, el cheapo booze, food and accomodation!

Failing that...what cant you do down london way? Everything you could possibly want is there.

Bournemouth is quite a good place for a Stag do... when i lived there there was always Hen & Stag parties most weekends... it does seem to be a very popular place...

Clubs / Fun Bars / Pubs / The Beach / Diners / Golf / Paint Balling / Go Karting

Also i know there is a cheap Hotel that does deals for Hen & Stag parties as thats all they do... Large parties...

If you'd like any further info let me know...

Not sure if it would suit everyone, but you could go to Alton Towers and stay over at (one of?) their hotel/s. I think there's a water park at the hotel/s.

Have fun whatever you do!

Dont know what you mean by activity, but I am in close contact with a person that arranges activity days, weeks, holidays etc. Anything from potholing, abseiling, white water rafting etc.etc. You have to pay a minimal amount for insurance, the rest is up to you.

If that's what you mean pm me.

We combined our hen/stag do and went for a clay pigeon shooting, archery, quad biking and air rifle shooting day. We had a sit down meal in the hotel afterwards.

(we rolled the whole wedding thing into a fortnight away in Scotland though)

Any of this any good? (http://www.uk250.co.uk/ActivityDays/)
