HIya.
In groups there is a wedding group, its really good and popular, if you posted in their i bet someone can help who has got married there or something :)
No probs. I know its common for big places like that to have 2 weddings on at once tho chick, as long as the rooms are well apart im sure you will be fine, you will find the organisers do it so your photographs n stuff are done at different times n stuff so will hardly see them. :)
sorry im going to sound really thick now but where do i find the group page????

We got married at Whitley Hall last year and there was another wedding on in a separate room the other side of the Hall and it didn't interfere with us at all. We had the main room and main gardens to be in and they had a separate room and separate courtyard for their guests. No worries.
Thank you thats good to know, was just worrying!!!!! think whitley hall and aston hall are about the same size too so shoukd be ok.
Thanks again
Are you in the main portion of Aston or in the big tent?
We had a look at the big tent about a year ago and didn't like the look of it.
It's quite a big place though, with several gardens and different rooms, so I expect that they arrange it so that the different weddings barely know each other are there.
Hi
Where in the lagonda room at the back of the hotel, they have said we'll both have different entrances and gardens but its just the principle thats annoyed me they dint even inform me that they'd booked another wedding in the big tent!!! we orginally look at the tent and hated it too. hopefully it'll be ok because if we cancel we lose our deposit.
I've been to a wedding where there was more than one at the same venue, as long as all your guests know exactly where to go you'll be fine. to put your mind at ease though you could find out from the organiser what time the other wedding is - you don't really want all the guests arriving at the same time. You could also enquire whether the other wedding party are having anything that could intefere with yours - a loud band, fireworks etc. Make sure they arrange for clear signposting for YOUR wedding and also sufficient parking if yours happens to be later than the other one.
They'll probably have two sets of staff on the day - one set for each wedding so you really shouldn't notice any difference at all.
Thanks Bonny thats really helpful. they have said we have different staff and caterers.
