Our son is starting to learn guitar in Sept. We have a 'junior' (I think) old guitar that we thought he could start on until we know if he is really keen but it has a string missing.
Anyone know of where to take it to get a new string/strings?

re-stringing is really simple, google it and you could learn to do it in about 10 mins. Just buy the strings yourself from a guitar shop such as Reverb near manor top.
I'd post a link to a site where it shows you how to do it, but the forum wont let me lol

Thanks a lot! s10Lemon very kindly rang me to explain more (thank you so much by the way!) - we did purchase some strings from a place s10Lemon recommended.... and an electronic tuner... and then snapped the top string straight away!... back to the shop, fingers crossed for next time.
