Sitting in an office, fans running, surrounded by oodles of computers and lots of sweaty programmers and analysts.

John Paul Satre said 'Hell is other people'. He was wrong. Hell is writng software on a hot and sweaty day in a hot and sweaty office with hot and sweaty people.

I'm at work where fortunately it isnt sweaty but my office is really quiet today. Don't get paid til next week :( Where I am its in shade so I can't enjoy the sunshine especially cooped up in a office all day. But on a more positive note the people in my office are great so atleast it won't be boring. What you doing this evening then?? I'm not sure yet

Just snuggled up in bed at the mo :) I'm having a shower in a bit, then tidying up and going to work... Lovely!

Off to a meeting for an hour or so then hopefully gonna make the best of the nice weather :D

I'm doing all the washing... it's an excellent day for drying :)

Got up at twenty after six, shave & shower, breakfast, double espresso, in the office for just after seven. Read emails. Write emails. Make phone calls. Go to meetings.

Never mind, it'll all be worth it tomorrow (pay day!)

At work, much sherdding of incriminating documents to do (seriously!).

Not fond of the weather at the moment...not that I hate warm weather, I just think that we've had enough for now and a few days of cool breezes and thunderstorms would make a nice break from baking in the sun.:)

I'm moving house today, so I'm currently sat on a table surrounded by boxes, waiting for my sister to drive over from Doncaster :D I'm grateful that it is at least a little breezy today, I didn't fancy lugging all my stuff about in the blazing heat :P

I'm afraid I'm one of them boring people: At home and need to do last nights washing and tidy the kitchen

I'm not at work ( only work a few days a month ), but I am in excrutiating pain with my back.

Am sat in vibrating chair, elbows resting on desk to keep weight off my lower back. Managed to get an appointment with osteopath at 12:30, don't know how I will manage to get there and into the practice, any bright ideas anyone?

So do you like your jobs or is it some job your in where you wanting to be promoted or something you do just to earn the money to live? Hope that makes sense. Where do you see yourself in say five years, still in the same job?

:D I'll be no doubt looking very harrassed by lunchtime ;) I am excited about moving, but I'm not looking forward to unpacking everything when I get there and those first few days when it all feels a bit weird, and not quite like home :( :suspect: Be great once I'm all settled in though :clap:

Got up early did a spot of cleaning (always makes me feel better), breakfast then strolled down to work. Having a quiet day and on my own so plenty of opportunity to browse on here. Just about to stuff a ciabatta with some tomatoes, rocket and olive oil to eat at lunchtime.

Had a visit from a pleasant rep. Front door is open sun shining, looking forward to yoga this evening, and to the scrumptious piece of lamb for dinner afterwards.

Too many references to food no wonder I can't shift that last few kilos.

pete_jim if ur determined enough you will shed some extra kilo's so be brave take up something new like swimming or going to the gym or for a run. I can reccommend a run as i do that often with my personal trainer

Well i am supposed to be working but i might aswell browse the net and check the score every once in a while hadnt i!! saying that your pretty active today arent you!

What do you mean pretty active? I just feel really opinated today lol plus there isn't much to do at the office as there is hardly any work

The day started at 7.30am in the gym, then had a (me time) 20 mins in the steam room, followed by a freezing shower, b4 a long swim, a glass of orange and a lovely walk around the park.

Many thanks those who showed concern for my back problem.

Have returned from being pummeled/twisted by osteopath, has been diagnosed as a herniated disc. Sitting not good for it and I know that if I lie down on the floor I wont be able to get up, have decided to kneel, in front of desk until its time for more pain-killers, exercises and cold/hot compresses....

Need biscuits (boasters), cups of tea and THC (sorry TLC)

Thanks for that Kerry_Lou. Unfortunately I got to the fridge and there was some wonderful ripe smelly brie which leapt onto the ciabatta, also the ciabatta are 3 for £1 so I have to eat the half (split everything we do) as well. I already go swimming twice a week and it's yoga tonight, and I walk to work. Never mind, if I did loose those few kilo's I'd be perfect and then have nothing to strive for.

Well that sounds really really good! I wish I did as much, the most I do is go for a run twice a week with my trainer. You can't be that out of shape if you all that.
