The British Horse Society (BHS) has a network of welfare officers throughout the country who could advise you or rescue the horse themselves. See their website. I don't think there are charities/bodies that will help you financially to keep an individual rescued horse, but the horse welfare bodies/animal sanctuaries do have schemes where you can adopt a horse that they have rescued.

If you can't afford the livery then how could you afford the vets fees, wormers, farriery bills, feed, bedding, rugs and everything else that will need shelling out for?
You may have good intentions but please leave rescuing to the professionals!

First of all I want comments from people who know about rescuing not people that cannot read.
There is funding available for rescued horses not only charities can get funding if your animal is a true rescue they are many trust etc set up for what I am doing but thanks for the useless commont anyway.

You were the one that said the livery costs were too high, there's no need to be rude about it.

ive replied to your pm hen, i wasnt been rude. so many people leave too much for the rescue centres when theres help out there for people who have commitment.. you will understand after my pm :).
