That'd be Lowedges park then, off Lowedges Road. Anyone know why they now insist on callin it Greenhill park these days? :loopy:
Anyway, I'm hoping to go pink fairy - I'll be the stressed one with 5 kids, a bright pink pram, a german shepherd & a springer spaniel (or maybe just the springer, depending if hubby comes) Holler if ya see me :D

Really? Well u learn somethin new every day...I was born and lived on Greenhill in the 70's and it was always Lowedges park then. Pretty sure my dad said it was Lowedges park when he lived on here - my nan moved on Lowedges in 1954 when the houses were first built. Maybe it was just the locals who called it that then, who knows :)

My mum was talking about the 1930s when she was a girl ! My mum adopted me and if she had been alove now she would have been in her 90s now, she told us how where lowedges is was fields and there was a manor house near Greenhill school , possibly where James andrew cresent is!
She used to walk to a farm at Tinkers corner to get milk and walk back down Beauchief Drive to a house called Woodcott !
I was never interested inn the history when I was younger , I wish I had listened now.
