So, who's tried it and what silly new features does it have? I use gaim, but the other half might be interested! ;)

The animated backgrounds are 'different', some of the features are grouped together a little more. It is now possible to send voice clips (up to 15 secs apparently).

Not really tried it in earnest as yet as most features seem to need 7.5 at both ends.

I got it. Looks the same as 7.0 apart from the voice clips (I haven't tried them yet either...)

try the animated backgrounds... seem weird at first.

there is also a security setting that prevents url's being clickable in a chat message... good for virus safety.

bit tricky to see if it is any better than 7.0 as yet cos of the small install base
