Do you mean a plastic one?
You can use it to overwinter some more tender plants, or you can start off some cuttings. It's too late for most fruiting things like tomatoes and peppers as they won't get enough sunshine now to ripen.
It's possible to grow winter salad stuffs, but make sure you ventilate well during the day

lettuce. Look for Little Gem type varieties. Sow a pot every few weeks for succession all through the winter, move plants into lager pots as they grow.

You can start off your garlic. It is possible to grow from shop bought bulbs, but for reliability, buy from garden centres. Break up into single cloves and plant in pots. Traditionally, these are planted on the shortest day of the year, and harvested on the shortest (again sow for succession)

erm.. sow radish in pots, every few weeks again for succession. (there's a theme here...it's basically so you don't get a glut of the veg all at once)

If it's big enough, you can also get a big pot and grow potatoes. You have to plant them in just a small amount of compost, and as the leaves grow, you keep covering them up with more compost until you get to the top. This is called earthing up, and it's done because the potatoes form all the way up the plant, and keeping them in the dark compost prevents them turning green and giving you a bad tum.

Things like cabbage, kale, purple sprouting broccoli, even onions could very well work, but I've not tried those inside ...yet.
