The Sheffield Canal does hold some very very nice carp. Theres a few free stretches, just have a walk down the bank and see if anyones fishing, or have a look if there's any club signs on the bank.

Graves park ? Beauchief ponds ? But you are not going to catch anything worthy of Carp fanciers monthly unless you shell out.. get yer hand in yer pocket and have a day at KSR @ Killamarsh or try the Industrial hamlet lake which has some massive carp innit, there are also some huge (and I mean HUGE) grass carp in rother valley ;)

Can you fish in the marina? I know you normally can't, which is probably why the bigger carp hang out there!

Not been up here long and im looking to find some big fish waters, How big do the Carp and Grassy's go in Rother and Killamarsh, Dont want to sound snobby but im used to fishing at Yately which holds fish well into their forty's. Also is there any Cats in there. Cheers Phil.
