What would you do if you won the £46million or so on the Euro lottery and had money to waste?

I'd open a 98p shop next to the 99p shop on Snig Hill out of spite.

I'd pay for all Sheffield chav types to go to Falaraki for a week and then not let them back in.

Buy a few tickets for the euro lottery its £66 million this friday :hihi: with the rest i would buy the moon.

id make a difference in other peoples lives that need it the most.

My initial reaction I cannot document............it's a family forum.

I would put the majority of it into Steiner Education and have a bit for my family.

with £46 million in the bank, what would you do maybe in a years time ,when you,ve done everything you can think of.

I actually would be very scared with that much money. I think it would probably send me loopy with paranioa that everyone was plotting against me to steal my money, nobody truely loved me, blaa blaa... And I would wake up one day in my white suit wondering why I was chained to a wall made of cotton wool.

I could cope with 5million and under though! lol

well i would open a 95p shop next to the 98p and the 97p shops and i would knock 50 per cent off every bill if their shop at my shop lol, but on a serious note i would pay my debts off and then divide so much of it to the 4 hospitals my daughter is under ( childrens, hallamshire, northern, and ryegate) and then give sum to weston park to help the patients feel more at ease and then sum to jessops for the special baby care unit then i would feel like ive achieved sumthing in life

I would throw the forum a last man/woman standing party, that should take care of most of the lottery winnings :D

probably drink myself to death within six months,i'd sooner win about 100 grand,pay off mortgage sell up and move, work wise stay exactly as i am apart from i'd go away 3 times a year instead of just the once.

Don't forget it's £77 MILLION tonight !

But I'm going to win it anyway, so don't bother getting a ticket.

I would set up a website called www.whyshouldIgiveyoumymoney.com and see what applications I got. I would then judge them on their merits and give out money to people to do exciting and interesting new projects. I may even get involved in a few of them.

I would also buy a new house and quit my job. Quitting my job would be the very first thing!

obviously there are all the things like helping out those most in need and i would like to do loads of stuff like that.

i would pay off all mine and my close friends and families debts/mortagages. Buy my mum and dad a beuatiful house here and abroad and give them enough moeny to retire etc etc etc

BUT

just for me - i would travel around the world staying in the best hotels and in hostels (you meet the best people that way). i do that for two or maybe three years.

then i would put myself through law school in america.

then i would put out a contract on my cheating ex.

then i would be happy :D

46 million seems to much to take in,
But first of all I would buy my sons the house of their choice and the money to run it
Relatives taken care of ie brothers and sister I would then treat my favourite Forum members and pay off ttheir morgages.
There's nothing like really owning your own house.

Such a lot left, I suppose i could buy race horses and watch them win.
I could live at the Savoy and come down to breakfast in my pyjamas like Richard Harris.
I could pay tto be in Coranation St and have fun.
I could play the stock market and see my shares go up or down.
I would have the Bank managers meet me as I walk in.
I would buy Sheffield Samaritans house for them.
So much to do when you have lots of money

I'd open an adolescent ward at the adult hospitals for the poor sods who are in the same position as me and at 17 can't go to children's hospitals but don't really belong in adults hospitals either.

Then, I'd move, buy a house that we could all fit into and we could fit a sofa and 2 chairs (at least) into the sitting room.
With a big garden.

Have my dog but also let my sister have the one she wants.

Buy a small house in France - I love France and the language and would be great to have somewhere to go!

Then buy a small house in Leeds for when I go to uni because that way I can take animals with me to uni.

I'd still try and donate money but the trouble is so much of it gets stolen for 'taxes' so you can't even give them as much as you want to anyway!

Buy a house in France and do the 'Good Life' thing there.

Let my kids run around in the dirt, climb trees, etc Grow my own veggies and just chill....

I’d build a theme park that only I could use and I would invite local terminally sick children over to drink Jesus Juice while they play with my facial reconstruction. You see, I wouldn’t waste it!

I'd buy a very large chunk of land in the Peak district with a very large house on it. I'd spend every day surveying my (fenced-off) property whilst it returns to nature.

I'd also use it as a refuge for wildlife and unwanted pets.

Any bugger trespassing - other than on public footpaths and by invite - would be shot!

I'd do what I always do when I win the lottery.
Re-invest the tenner.

I would buy my brother a new set of legs after all thats all he has ever wanted oh and a house for me my partner and 2 kids to live in

- Pay off parents mortgage, let them both retire and give them £1,000,000 to spend as they please.
- Take my whole family (including aunties, uncles, cousins etc etc) away for a week to the 7* hotel in Dubai
- Quit my job
- Buy myself a house and let my mate share with me, plenty of garage space for:
- Cars.. Oh the cars. I'd have a new Carrera GT, a Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, an SLR McLaren, and then buy my closest friends a brand new Z4 each.
- A large penthouse flat in the city centre for myself, fully equipped with jacuzzi etc.
- Book and pay for a 2 week lads holiday for me and all the boys, in luxury...
- Enjoy my money for a while
- Look into buying loads of property for rent/re-furb and re-sale
- Buy myself a club to own and run

I'd leave the country I think.
