I have been to a few namely Pastimes in Woodeseats, WhichCraft & Hobbycraft but wondered if anyone had a nice little craft shop near them to tell me about?

there is a craft shop in hilsbrough precinct. its not very big but has the basics. my girl usually goes to hobbycraft and always gets what she needs from there.

Pennyholme Crafts are pretty good. They have a store at Ridgeway and a bigger shop in Eckington.

The best one we've come across are ones in Cheshire. This one at Brimstage Hall on the Wirral is fantastic:

Well worth a trip and there's quite a few things to do nearby as well (Cheshire Oaks Outlet Mall, Blue Planet Aquarium, shipyard with some submarines you can go around and some great coastlines). You also have to visit New Brighton - Liverpool's Cleethorpes!

Whiteheads at the foot of London Rd are very good.

The play resource centre which is on nursery street in city centre is very good, it is run by the council and if you are part of a community group, work for a charity or work with young people or have contacts you can shop there, you cannot beat them on prices and they have loads of ideas for craft activities.

Try Whichcraft on a road between London road and Bramall Lane called John Street. Near CCC Outdoors shop.
