In the middle of a recession these results are quite staggering!

In particular, does anyone know what has happened with Rotherhams crowd, have they introduced any new initiatives as they don't normally get that many.

Any ideas on why these have increased, is it the bigger clubs that have gone down contributing or is it the many offers around that is bringing people out.

Whatever it is, hope it continues!

It probably helped having a Yorkshire derby, plus some of the teams at home were always likely to draw in good crowds (Derby, WBA, Cardiff in the new ground). Also the big three in league one were all at home. Although if Newcastle had been at home, that would've upped the total significantly.

Good turnout though!

Has the Don Valley Stadium even got 10,000 seats?

I didn't actually see any fans there at all when watching the highlights on Saturday, there were entire blocks of seats that were totally empty.

Didn't I hear them saying something on Football Heaven tonight about the attendance given in the media for the Rotherham game was wrong?

IIRC it said did say 10k+ in the News of The World. How somebody can confuse that number with 3,254 is anybodies guess!

According to what I caught on Football Heaven earlier. All the media agencies get their information such as attendances from the same source and it was this source that got the figure wrong. Like you say though, how they can confuse 3k with 10k is beyond me!!

Quick question Tit.
I am just watching Darlington vs Leeds.
Do Leeds have more away fans at the match than Darlington have home fans ?
Sure looks and sounds like it
