erm ive never said it in my life
Their shrimp is the size of our lobster, so doesn't fall through.
I'd kill to have a barby now rather than be stuck in work :-(

We've always put shrimps on a piece of tinfoil or on a tinfoil tray, then they don't fall through the grille. Yummy and I wish I was eating some now!
:hihi:
Its taken me while now to pick all the shrimps out from between the coals
Going to try sweetcorn now

No, it's Barbie(tm).
It dates back to when Barbie was first put on the shelves in Austrailian toy shops. Apparently, the first batch ended up killing 5 children due to toxic chemicals that went into the compound material of the doll that, for some reason, only affected Austrailian kids. It was discovered later that only shrimp would neutralise the toxicity of these chemicals in the blood stream. Therefore, ever since, Barbie manufacturers have had to throw all Barbie dolls into a giant container followed by a drop load of shrimp. They are then safe to ship to children all across Austrailia. Apparently it is cheaper to do it this way than change the materials themselves.
So, there you have it. That's where the phrase "throw another shrimp on the Barbie" originates from, as you can't be too careful when it comes to kids.

:wow:
So, I was on the wrong lines altogether with my bag of shrimps from Morrisons
Well, we'll see what happens with the sweetcorn, I have that straight from the AWT website....
I dont suppose it matters much that we only have the tinned variety.
