My great grandather Albert Bird was born in Court 26 Pea Croft in 1846. The family moved to Arundel Lane in 1850 and later Pond Street in 1856. I would like to learn more about the school(s) Albert may have attended, and more generally what education was like in those times. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
