Does anybody know if Hope has a car boot this week on Sunday?

If you look on the Hope Valley College website , there is click on about car boots.
One week they have it on the college playing fields and the next week it is across the road from the college on another field. If there is heavy rain the day before, it can get cancelled. There is a telephone number to ring which gives a recorded message saying if the car boot sale is on or not, but it is only up dated on saturday evening.
However, if you look at the college information page , click on contact us, and it will give you the telephone number for the college and you will get to speak to someone.

The phone number to ring for information as to whether or not the car boot will go ahead is 0753 819 4348. This coming Sunday, weather permitting, it will be on the Sports Club field on the north side of the road, across from the college.

Remember they have banned dogs on there now.

every sunday till october,,i live just down the road

Hardly an historic occasion.

I'm hoping to do a car boot on Sunday, not done one in a while, does it get busy, I'm going to do this one or the Bakewell sale, which is the best?

The Bakewell car boot sale at Lady Manners school is held monthly and the next one is on 13 Serptember (but maybe there is another one in or near Bakewell?). Hope is bigger than Lady Manners, BUT it will be cancelled if the field is wet. Ring 0753 819 4348 on Saturday evening to hear a recorded message as to whether it will be held.

the recorded message says that at the moment the field is flooded so the sale is "in doubt". It says to ring the mobile number on Saturday after 3 to find out if its on.
