Ah, the dubious honour of suffering the first battering.

'Borough are a lot of peoples favourites for an instant return to the Prem.
Early games often produce false/shock results ..... but not this one.
3-0 'Borough.
Put diamonds on it!

I think it will end up 1-1 Ched Evans for United, and Alliadiaire for Boro.

im confident we have enough to see off barnsley ,and looking at our first 6 games ,we have a good chance of getting off to a good start

Should change your name to the SINNER whoever you are :hihi::hihi::hihi:

That just gives Benn more time to post on here.
A week ago he was just touching the 40,000 mark and now hes well past 45,000 --- Corky should start a betting thread and we all throw in a few quid as to what day Benn hits the 50,000 mark.

He may be going for guiness record

Please forgive me for being a cynic, but I recall the free Balti pies in the 1990's. I've always been a 15 minutes before the match guy, so will not experience the moment.

On the subject of football, GO FOR IT WEDNESDAY.

Just hope it's a better game on t'telly than that tedious pair of games against Boro in the cup a few years back - Hansen & co nearly fell asleep at the replay :)

just hanson and co? i think i was nearly falling asleep and im a blade.
also games like that show how close we are as teams, whilst they have lost quite a few of there players and the dressing room cant be in too good spirits, we have added to ours.

A few years ago I was approaching Sean's at Banner Cross and noticed Kevin Pressman leaving the shop with a heavy bag in each hand, I had to smile. They sell sandwiches and pies, I somehow didn't think that he was carrying two bags full of sandwiches. :D

wednesday have got a cracking chance to accumulate a decent amount of points at the start of the season, some of the lesser teams in the division so hopefully we can hit the ground running. glad we are away at newcastle so early in the season too! i think they will start poorly so maybe we can take advantage of this.
