View Full Version : Wednesday vs Rochdale on Tuesday - tickets on door?
Ginger Daddy 05-08-2009, 08:48 Hi there.
Can you buy tickets on the door for the Sheff Wed v Rochdale match on Tuesday for the away end?
Been on both the Sheff Wednesday and Rochdale websites: the Sheff Wed website has no mention whatsoever of ticketing arrangements for the game, whilst the Rochdale website says you can buy tickets from their Ticket Office, but that would involve a 100 mile trip!
I an an exiled Rochdaleian and would want to go to the game!
Regards

You will have no worries atall of sitting with your fellow Rochdale fan's, they have been opening the away end for the friendlies, so i would imagine they will open the away end for the league cup.
You will defo be able to pay on the door though so don't worry.:)

The SWFC does mention though they are only opening the South Stand, so presume Leppings Lane will get open for the away fans then?
Do you know how much it would be? The Rochdale website suggests £12 at their ticket office, but could it be different on the door?

No more than 12 quid mate its not to bad in the league cup price wise.
I did hear on another thread that the Rochdale fan's were maybe sitting on one side of the South but i can't see that to be honest.

Ginger Daddy 07-08-2009, 08:22 Is there a bar in the away end?
Don't think they sell alcohol to away fans, but never been in that end :)
Ginger Daddy 11-08-2009, 12:39 Have now found out that tickets can be bought before the game, but at the Ticket Office, not the turnstiles!
Panthera 11-08-2009, 13:12 nope no beer for the away fans...last match no beer on kop because the licence hand'nt come through and hardly any beer on the north cos they'd either run out or there wasn't anyone old enough on the bar to serve it.
