does anyone know if they are taking people on, whats it like? or has anyone got a telephone number so i can ring myself... any other call centres taking people on ideally in sheffield city centre location. I know you guys must be thinking im craaazzzzy for wanting to work in a call centre but hey i just need the cash!

i used to work in a bt call centre, at the time manpower were the main agency that employed people to work there.

bt dont tend to take people on full time
i enjoyed working there.
if you are a stresshead, do not apply it can be demanding as you are expected to meet targets and most of the time these are at the customers expense:mad:

i believe manpower were opposite no 1 chinese buffet in sheff town centre

Norwich Union Healthcare have some call centres in Sheff too, off infirmary rd (next to the big tescos).

Again if u like just being a number and being shown no respect, then u'll be fine. The other staff are nice though.

i worked there a couple of years ago stayed 6 to 8 months constant training ..i did get the job with the an agency called blue arrow but its a agency called haze i think now could have changed though ..but it might be worth your while going on there bt site and you can look to get more money that way if you work in 150 rather than billing.. hope this helps as things can change so much in an a couple of years
