recently went to see Lisa Stansfield live, half way through the show & i assume to add effect to the song Ms stansfield decided to spark up & puff on the old B&H.
I know people have sipped alcoholic beverages,i've even seen jo Brand eat chocolate live but as anyone seen anybody else light up on stage?

There's that American comedian guy (Denis someone I think) who is always puffing away. Then there's that London actor (whose name I also can't remember - having a bad day) who puffed constantly on Jonny Vegas show a few weeks back.
I think it's a bit unfair to let performers light up but insist the audience don't!

Slash formerly G 'n' R but now Velvet Revolver, now he's always got a fag hangin in his mouth.

Seen Howard Marks do it, with a fag and spliff , think Bill Hicks did it too.

Howard Marks let the audience smoke too though...

didnt lou reed used to shoot up on stage at some point in his long career or am i mixing him up with someone else

one of the first Robbie concerts i went to was in MEN arena in Manchester. It was a no smoking venue but half way through he lit up and told anyone who wanted to, to do the same and if the staff say anything to tell them Rob said it was ok !

interpol light up on stage all the time

I was genuinely pleasantly surprised to hear that so many performers light up.....etc.....on stage.

But , be careful -----now that you've let the cats out of the bags , as it were , you could have the Health and Safety Control Freaks down on you like a ton of bricks.

I think Robbie Williams is one of the biggest prats out. This story only strenghens my opinion.

because he is flashy and popular with girls (and knows it). His smoking is also another factor.

so are you suggesting that any persons seeing robbie smoke on stage will suddenly get the urge to buy 10 benson ?


p.s ive just realised that robbie is bi so i hope that persons will realise im not at all homophobic by suggesting he has a quick puff on stage :)

Ok. you are entitled to your opinion but i think he's wonderful - best concert i ever went to in my life was seeing him at Knebworth.

Paul Heaton of the Beautiful South puffs away on stage.

Also he was spitting alot.
