Does anyone attend keep fit classes run under the Keep Fit Association banner ?
If so have you been told about a yearly membership fee of £15 ?
I am not talking about gym membership - I mean the sort of one hour keep fit classes run all over the country in church halls etc. I attend a few various keep fit and dance classes and they add up to a fair amount each week.
The Keep Fit Assoc. has just announced that in addition to the hourly fee paid to the tutor, they now want a £15 yearly fee which goes directly to the company. I queried this and was sent a really arrogant e.mail saying the fee is only the price of one cup of coffee a month.
I would imagine that this company has a lot of very well paid directors and staff who don't actually do a lot, and I feel very sorry for my hard working tutors who will see their business collapse. I have only spoken to one person who is willing to pay this fee - the hourly fees are also due to rise.
Anyone know any more about it ?
