Hi everyone
i posted a few months ago about chester who had a trip to the emergency vets as we thought he had had a stroke. it turned out he had an inner ear infection which left him with a head tilt.
that was about 4 months ago and since then his head tilt has gradually got better but never totally went away but he was happy and healthy. a couple of weeks ago i noticed his left eye, left side of his mouth were twitching so we took him to the vet who said it was the infection again and gave him some anti-biotics. the twitching didnt stop but he seemed himself still.
However the other day i picked him up and he felt lighter then he usually did so we took him to the vets and he's lost 35g in weight in quite a short amount of time. also, as well as the twitch in the left hand side of his faced his left front leg is starting to drag when he walks. we took him back to the vets who has put him back on anti-biotics. we've seperated him from lester as he's finding it hard to eat and lester pinches food from him. we're hoping the weight loss is down to lester pinching the food.
we're taking him back to the vets tomorrow for a check up and fingers crossed his weight is back up. he's starting to look a bit brighter (i think) and i sometimes see flashes of his cheekyness! please send him healing thought, i hate seeing him like this and just want him to get better.
