This is how a chairman should communicate with the fans.

The best, and biggest clubs usually win trophies, or play in Europe, so you've answered your own question.
Small bullet, own foot ....... well done.

So you claim. But the small minded always live in the past...

I reckon that a Chairman who 'talks' with fans on a daily basis, by whatever method, is far better than one who talks to the fans when he feels like it.
The Pope has more audiences than Mr McCabe.
Why you're obsession with how Lee Strafford chooses to have dialogue with Wednesday fans?
Strafford chooses the way he thinks is right, and McCabe chooses a different way.
I think both are right.
Strafford has had more than one 'fans forums' already, it's nothing new!
Now stop the wind up Scott, you should know better. ;)

So 2006/2007 which you quote is in the future is it?
OOops.... sorry, ..... back on topic....

Well done Mr McCabe! :)

Yep but Strafford comes across as extremely unproffesional and is providing ammunition and laughter to Unitedites everywhere.

All im saying is in my opinion this is the more . . . .. dignified way to respond to fan criticisms of the club- rather than trying to take on the keyboard warriors one at a time.

As long as he keeps doing a decent job, I don't mind him giving some people a bit of entertainment a long the way.

I would love to know what LS has done in the last few months that was actually FUNNIER than some pigs response to selling Beattie and the Kyles, losing yet another play off final, Blackpuddings comments afterwards and the fat keeper failing a drug test.

Please tell me becasue I'm dying to know. Maybe, just maybe it's the pigs trying to detract from the fact that we have a chairman at long last that is bringing the club and fans together and whether good, bad or indifferent is open and honest which all fans want.

Laughter can be a defensive mechanism for fear.

Yeah well, he certainly managed to bring five of you together for the painting mularky. Answer me this - did you go along to help paint the ground when the chairman asked? Were you one of the legendary 'Dulux 5'..?

All this shouting from the rooftops by pigs about Strafford's Perestroika and how he's galvanising the supporters, bringing the fans and the club together and creating a community spirit and then only five of you turn up to help out. That is what is laughable. If you answered yes to my question(s), then fair enough, carry on but if you answered no, don't go banging on about how great the new swillsbro dawn is cos you obviously aint that bothered.

An old un but sadly for you not a golden! Tres tres tres boring my friend. Now jog on piglet!

Going back to the original topic - we did it first AND had the manager involved.

Copy cats but then imititation is the sincerest form of flattery so on behalf of all owls, Mr McCabe we thank you for taking note on how openness is achieved.

Actually what is laughable is that they were asked to do it in the first place

You find £13million of income, £10million of that produced by our academy funny? so be it. Am sure the owls could find a use for that, the fact is you could not raise any where near that.

Paddy is the fool, but failing any drug test is not funny, could be one of your lads next!!

Strafford bringing your club together ? i suggest there is a split on that opinion amongst owl supporters. Lets take aview in 6 months when the team are again, mid division , no takeover and 16000 fans at an home match.

As for trying to detract from a clubs failings. well both sets of fans can rightly be accused of that.:) Just one club has a lot more failings than the other.;)

Jog on yourself my porcine friend. Your humiliation is our entertainment.

You snortbeasts don't have a clue about originality. Strappedforcash has just about copied his entire business model from United - oh apart from having any chance of carrying it off of course.

I love the smell of desperation. You do know your crowds are going to dwindle next season now that we're selling pork sarnies? I'm sure you've got a fan or two that could feed the whole ground!

hey dont be afraid to admit your scared about this coming season. I wont hold it against you. Seriously though i dont think there will be such a gap between us this year. Either we'll both be looking for a playoff spot or both lingering midtable somewhere. Most of the blades i've spoke to in real life have admitted that their confidence has been rocked a bit.

To be honest shizz, I can't see us pulling up any trees this year and I definitely don't think wednesday will either. I will say one thing for you lot as fans though, it doen't take much to get you optimistic does it? You're totally opposite to us miserable buggers.

welcome to the workings of the average owls fans mind! Been down there for so long you kinda get used to the cack. People can knock ls all they want, the fact remains that even if the results dont come on the pitch they're certainly there off it. Not totally there of course but rome wasn't built in a day and its a lot harder to rebuild something than starting from scratch. I'm in it for the long term and hope the majority of fans are too. You guys have been there and did you ever give up hope? Little things like turning the west stand sign back on, beer on the kop, beres pies, the open day, the fans forum, the physio issue, the shirt deal, the list goes on and on and i expect lots more to come. None of this would have happened under the last board. For the first time in ages i have a smile on my face. Also me and the mrs have spent way too much money down there lately too, shirts, season tickets etc. Would never have done that before.
