Has anyone tried this? Where did you go and how much was it?

A few friends and myself are interested in giving this a go but the "Day Taster" courses seem really expensive, probably because of the insurance!

Can anyone recommend a good place to try this?

i was once out in the peak district with my camera bag and i met a group of trainee gliders, and i got chatting to the instructor, i seem to remember they were based in Tideswell.
Not much to go on, i know but hope it helps.

It's about a gliding school out in Derbyshire that might let you have a go.
