I just have to say how fab peak vets have been tonight. ive always been really pleased with their service, and travel a good 25mins to get to them but tonight they were super.
I had a call from greyhound gap to collect a lurcher who was been handed over, usual process is to get them to the vets asap for checking. i called and Gregg fitted us in straight away knowing they can quite often be in a state from past experience.
The little lass was actually not bad but on the way, she was sick, weed and pood in my van then rolled in it all. Emma the nurse was fab took us straight into back and bathed the little lass no questions asked. they even offered me stuff to clean my van out.
After a check over the little one is safely tucked up in foster.
Im so astounded how nice people can be sometimes and tonight i think they deserved a big thanks as most wouldnt have done the same. annax

I always find that nothing is too much for the staff at Peak. They are all brilliant :)

That's great it sounds like they really did you proud there, and lovely to hear that the lurcher is now happily settled somewhere safe.
Why can't we have a branch of Peak vets over here? someone please tell them that North Sheffield needs them

Yes Peak vets are great, They once had to sort a guest bunny who came in pregnant, the baby was stuck, steve came along and released the baby , so mum and babies all survived , nothing is to much for these guys , they are true animal lovers, they all give a day freely to the RSPCA to make a difference.

teeny peak are at rspca twice a week monday and thursday they have been really good with us and always fit us in with the rescues.

They each give a day a week , Steve told me thats whay they got Cathy to join them , I know they are fab at doing the RSPCA work and it must make a big difference at the RSPCA. You don't find many vets doing that now do you?

We're hopefully moving soon, but Peak is one of the reasons we're really finding the decision hard.

The vets we would be going to (150 miles away) are just not the same. We used them once for the hammy when on holiday and I wasn't pleased at all.

Peak are such fab vets!

Good to hear!

I found them wonderful when Ziggy was run over - patiently dealt with my 1000 daft questions and really took great care of him.

I echo what others have said on here. My Great Dane got bloat late one Saturday night - so we rushed her though and she had an emergency op early hours of Sunday morning. Don't know which vet it was but he was great and kept me informed and was really empathetic. Top marks from me as well.
