I've been bought a reyt nice photo and want to get it framed nicely. Any suggestions? I've not had to do this before so don't even know where to start... thanks! :)

Try The Scottie Gallery in Crookes - they do framing or you can just buy the frames from there.

if you're near the North of the city there's a nice little framer in Ecclesfield near the Church - on the main road just before the black bull?

I think it's called The Framery, and I agree, they're excellent. They do a good job and are really helpful helping to choose the right style of frame to suit the picture.

Try meadowhall as a last resort because you will find something nice on the lanes most likely but frameworks is recommendable

There is a good, reasonable place in Elsecar heritage centre, you can choose which wood, colour etc. They are very helpful and the price is right.

Email the picture to the police (anonymously) and say they did it! :)

Momento in Attercliffe. Run by an old chap who's been doing it for decades, the quality if fantastic and I've found he's often half the price of framers in S10/S11.

Must agree that Momento in Attercliffe by Banners is superb! I've been going for years. Hes also a very nice guy. Don't think he should be called an old guy though!!

Absolutely great quality as the pictures in my stylish home can testify!! He has a great selection of frames, is amazingly cheap and as I said a very nice guy!!!

it isnt going in my house so it doesnt matter on quality really. its for a sign in a shop/unit, which will be high up on a wall.

i ordered one online for £47. my brother has got one before from them it was really nice.

I have recently bought a really lovely photo of Sheffield from the 1950's and wanted to get it mounted and framed. I rang round a few places offering framing but eventually found a little shop in Attercliffe called 'Momento'. The price was considerably lower than any of the others I tried. I got the picture back last week and I am chuffed to bits with the finished article. The gentleman who runs the shop is really helpful and the shop itself is an aladdins cave of mirrors and frames.
