Our cat has been missing since Sunday morning, which is unlike her as she normally stays around our garden, and is in and out of the house all the time.

We live on Helmton Drive at Woodseats, and have woods behind our house which back onto Cherry Bank Road, behind Derbyshire Lane. If anyone around this area has seen her, then please let me know.

We have also leafleted the surrounding area today.

She is just over a year old, is black and white and goes by the name 'Tinks'. She is also microchipped.

Ah, I hope you find her. Is she micro chipped or does she have a collar with an I'd tag on?

Is she the same Tinks that was at the RSPCA for ages, who was really scared of humans?

I seriously considered her if it is, but took my 2 instead.

I hope she turns up, and if she is the same cat I'm thinking of (and she sure looks the same) then she really does deserve a crack at life.

Good luck

Thanks NewBiz.

We did adopt her from the RSPCA last July when she was 12 weeks old, but she never seemed that scared of humans.

She was dumped at the roadside as a kitten and had to be separated from her mother who was in a bad state. She was in a foster home at Heeley when we got her last year.

I'm starting to give up now. :(

Hi Jambo

That's such a strange coincidence. There was a cat looked the spit of your Tinks called Tinks in the RSPCA when I adopted mine from there in March this year.

Don't give up hope though. If you look at some of the posts on here, cats seem to turn up after weeks in some cases.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Cheers.

It's been a week now more or less. Struggling to think of where she could actually have gone.

Amazingly, after two months and a week she is back home!

I was walking along Fraser Road earlier, which is around half a mile from our house, and there she was in someone's front garden! I commandeered a generous couple's house for five minutes until I could get a taxi and bring her home. She is settling in fine. :)

Thanks again to everyone who kept an eye out before!
