Just a random thought - has anyone on the Forum heard of the WRG (Waterway Recovery Group)?

I knew that they existed, but not what they were called.

i have, i think my brother went of one of their 'missions' to repair / renovate some locks. Plus there's a red WRG van that's parked near me on my walk into town :)

Really? I wonder why its parked there....should be doing summat!

The "missions" are actually "Camps".

Well, i couldn't think of a better description for them ;)

I might add the van is only occasionally there.

Are you involved with the WRG then?

Yep i am! I really love it, but my friends think im all crazy!

I was just curious if people had heard of them as a few people i met on my last camp said they hadn't heard of them until a friend/teacher/colleague mentioned them.
