Hello all Postman back after 15 days fixing his house in the sun. but thats not the point of it :P

so i potter about Greece for over 2 weeks get from a to b without any hithes.

Then i come home. Bear with me

Arive at Luton Airport 10.50pm "should have been gatwick but a certain air company over booked" so i was 2 hours late and at the wrong airport for the ticket i had for the bus to come home :rant:

Then it took two hours for the Baggerge people to get to bags of the plain.

:rant:

so now its 12.50am

Phone up a certain UK coach company ticket phone number :O its closed
:rant:

Then phone the emargancy number and wait 30 mins till someone answer.......and he was as dim as old boots :D

finaly rolled on a coach at 1.50am but only to Nottingham.

Should have been a 4 hour wait for the conneting bus to Sheffied :(

So sodded it all and got the train home arrived back on sheffield Soil at 6.15 am

Cost of getting to Airport in Athens 3 pound twenty delays no distance 49 miles

Cost of getting some to From Airport to Sheffield 100 pound 180 miles delays endless

Uk transport ruels NOT

Rant over and good night all postman needs to sleep :)

Hope you had a good holiday Postman.

The journey back can often cast a shadown over it! That's why when traveling this distance i either drive and park or get a reliable taxi. I'd hate to depend on public transport to get back!

god posty who did you book with it sounds like a nightmare i went to turkey a while ago and never had a problem but at least your expressing the anger lol hope you enjoyed the holiday posty
