things could finally be starting to move at hillsborough, but could this spell the end for tudgay as an owls player?....

Transfer rumours are like the proverbial London bus - nothing, then loads come at once, and this time it's Marseilles Elliot Grandin linked with Wednesday.

It had gone pretty quiet on the striker front after links with Freddie Sears and Victor Anichebe, with Marcus Tudgay's potential move away from S6 hitting the headlines.

But following the links with Southampton's Marek Saganowski, reports are suggesting Owls boss Brian Laws is at an advanced stage to bring Grandin in to Wednesday on what's believed to be a season-long loan.

Laws was in attendance at a recent clash between England U21s and France U21s, and it's believed the youngster caught Laws' eye.

West Brom and Espanyol have also been linked with the midfielder-striker, but it's thought Marseilles would rather loan their man out than sell him.

It's certainly going to be interesting in this next week or so as far as players coming in and out are concerned...

yes this is true and their also looking at Marek Saganowski both strikers are 5 ft 10 in hight. Marek Saganowski is aged 30 with premiership experiance from sunderland and scoring a total 19 out of 62 apperiances. On the other hand Elliot Grandin aged 21 has only had 3 seasons in them 3 seasons he has scored 9 out of 74 apperances.

Your spelling is shockin' pal.

I can't remember many successful French players in the Championship before ...... or anywhere else for that matter. The obvious 'stars' of course, but very little else.
After saying that, I'll trust Laws' judgement, he's done ok for me thus far!

Looks like the writing is on the wall for Tudders as an Owls Player:

It looks like it all rests on Brian getting a replacement or a couple of replacements first.

Yes, I think he should go now. but wednesday need to sign some one as good or better I would be more than happy If we sold tudgay and bourght Varney and France and then got Elliot Grandin on loan.

Mad isn't it - in the space of a few days, arguably the best blades and owls players will have left their clubs!

It would certainly be interesting if Tudgay does go, and Laws makes a bid for Sharp - the majority of owls fans praying he doesn't go, and many of the frustrated blades fans praying that he does! :)
