The old Yorkie ads were pretty cool. More recently the Snickers ad with BA is hard to beat.

There's an old advert for the Guardian which still does the business.

It's on youtube and I think it's called "see the whole picture" or similar.

The Guinness Moby Dick one was one that stands out in my mind, but the Playstation Double Life will probably always be the best one to me.

The most effective one for me is the Cathedral Cheddar one where people see someone eating cheese on toast. (OMG - cheese on toast)

The new Doctor Pepper one is quite amusing (American High School student goes to the nurse).

The ultimate however was the advert for some type of toothpaste.

'' Where's the little drummer boy ?

He's at the Dentist.

Again? What, more fillings ?''

No, he's shagging the receptionist.

( I may have slightly embellished the last bit ).

Now I like the fox's bisqwuits advert with the mafia boss panda - "tell em Vinnie sent ya". I love all things panda related.:hihi::hihi::hihi:

'the cog' advert was really effective and started the whole re-branding identity of honda and how they began to advertise themselves.

also the sony bravia adverts, the one with the bouncy balls and the one with the paint exploding all over the block of flats. they have videos on youtube of how they made em both, amazing to watch. who has the idea of getting 250,000 bouncy balls and releasing em down a big hill!

the drench advert was really clever, having brains from thunderbirds dancing around to rythm is a dancer, with the message being drench keeps your brains hydrated, really clever.

What's the worst sort of spammer? Spammers offering dubious products, or spammers who can't be bothered to research where they're spamming, and are just using the forum as a way of getting their keywords out there?

Best TV ad: the Guinness evolution one.
