I am thinking of learning to fly microlight aircraft. Does anyone know a flying school in Sheffield. The nearest ones I can find so far are based at Sandtoft (Off the M180) and somewhere off the end of the A1.

There is a flying school at Sheffield City Airport, but from the website it appears they teach only light aircraft, not microlights.

I think you will find Sandtoft is your nearest. I know most outdoor suppliers & there aren't any others I'm aware of.

And suppose I eventually do learn and get a licence, would I be able to hangar the machine at the airport? Or I am I dreaming? :D
