We have a couple of plastic tubs with both salted and roast peanuts in them from Christmas. The packaging says to use them within 7 days, yet they still 'seem' fine even now.

So how long can you leave it before you die from eating them? :?

Generally nuts last 6 months. Eating them after that usually results in death after, say, 2 hours tops.
