Get ahold of Microsoft Front Page or Macromedia Dreamweaver.
These programs let you design your web site just as easy as you 'design' a document in Word.

I think your website instantly loses respect when it is a horrible, generic, auto-created mess.

FrontPage won't help if you don't want a horrible auto-generated mess (FrontPage Express, anyway, and free was a criterion). You may as well use Word's 'export to HTML' option! Also, Dreamweaver isn't free.

Anyway, free website design system here:

http://www.nvu.com/

It is based on the Mozilla/Firefox rendering engine and includes a CSS editor and so on for using style sheets. It's really quite nice.

Dreamweaver's post sales technical support is as good as useless. Cant think it's going to improve after the takeover comes to fruition in the next few months.
