laws will make an offer for him tomorrow, i'm sure. At the momment laws is on a tight budget so he will make an offer in his price range.

Good news he played well last night and took his goal really well, i hope we get him because as someone say's other clubs have been sniffing around.
The bonus is that he's been on trial at Wednesday and that might just twist it in our favour.

he was obviously no world beater but showed some good touches etc. took the goal really well, if he can bag a few more in the season then must be worth signing just for that

Yeah France played really well last night and deserves a contract just on that showing, his wages can't be that big.
My man of the match by a long way was Harry Potter he's a real talent that lad in my opinion.
He gets his foot on the ball and his distribution is as good as any midfielder ive seen at Hillsborough in a long long while, top signing fom Laws told Harry.
Gray again rolled back the years with some good bursts down the wing.
I think Macallister should start instead of O'conner though me, especially as he had the decency to shake my hand while he was warming up lol.

He played on the left didn't he Dave from what i can remember with Gray on the right.
Although obviously Gray usually plays on the left like.
Think he was trying Frances utility abilty lol

i dont think either had a side tbh lol. i'm pretty sure when it kicked off ggray was on the left so france was on the right but france was on the left when he scored.

it gives us a little extra cover at left back then -although Buxton can fill in there as well and is more of a recognised defender

Nice to have you back flower. :D

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be back in your lovely country.
I had the choice of staying in the 90 degree heat of Greece, or coming back here. The authorities saw through my 'Greek soldier in traditional costume' disguise. :( They searched 864 of the 1,690 possible islands I could have hidden on ...... and found me. :( Their bolt cutters made short shrift of the chains that bound me to the Parthenon, :( and they soon found my hole in the ground, (same as Saddam). A posse of armed guards escorted me to the airport, and hancuffed me to Row 25, Seat 25c (Not even a window seat!!!! )
I knew then that there was no escape, and that I had to come home.
I'm lovin' it .......... :(

Thanks for your kind words!

No, I never bet on things I know little about, and they transfer of France would come under that. As I said before, I appologise if this is true, but I just really hope that it isn't as it shows no desire to progress at all by the club and can't see why United would want him. There has also been nothing to indicate this could happen and he's been on trial at Wednesday... Sure you're not getting your Sheffield teams mixed up? :hihi:

took this off owlstalk...says it all really, lol

Our wheelie bin cleaner said he heard from a reliable source, that Ryan France was on his way down to bumhole lane but was intercepted in the car park by a private helicopter which had flown in direct from Madrid. Talks were held and an offer of £100k a week over 3 years was offered.
He said France was gob smacked, but after thinking about it he turned them down as he realised he didn't want to miss the opportunity to play for his beloved Sheffield Wednesday.

He's always 100% spot on so keep checking Sky Sports, OS, Sheffield Star, BBC and Radio Sheffield.

If this isn't a wind up, then i'll be mightily disappointed if he's paraded as a big signing for us! Hardly a positive move, squad padding at best.

Nowt to explain - like I said, for us i'd assume it would be just a case of padding out the squad, whereas it seems Laws has been seriously tracking him. Maybe KB was at the Hartlepool game and agreed with the Owls fans comments! Or he's read the praise on here and decided to jump in...!!

I remember a few years back, when we signed a few players on the same day, and one was Barry Hayles - he was going to score a hatful of goals, bring pace and movement to the attack, etc... within a month we'd sold him! So you can never guarantee which new signings will be a surprise hit, and which will be a disappointing flop (Hendrie, C Beattie, Carney to name a few...).

Snook

Laugh if he signed for you now and you had to explain that little comment :hihi:

If he signs for us I can't really see him getting many games, unless he has suddenly become a much better player than he used to be. He has only really been a regular player at non-league, div 2 and div 1 level. Not a forwarded looking signing, plus the fact that he seems to get injured a lot and is 28. I was happy with the signings of Little, Reid and Gray because they all have experience at a high level and have proved themselves and have simply moved out of favour, but I don't see what France adds at all. I hope he proves me wrong if he does sign.
