Need some help to settle a bet.

Cruyff is famous for his number 14 shirt but prior to the 70/71 season at Ajax he was number 9.

Can anybody confirm whether he played number 9 for Holland as well up to this point in time?

dont want anyone arguing that he never did for Ajax cos he did!!! He was injured preseason and Gerrie Muhren took his number 9 so he then became number 14.

I think in the early 70s Hollands numbers were allocated in alphabetical order.
I know this ditty doesn't help in anyway really but hey i thought i'd post it!
