Have they even stared filming yet? I read that Michelle Collins has auditioned for a part, obvioulsy to replace Edie Britt.

Yes it was int he newspaper the other day, both Susan and the othe rone (who is marrying Mike, well we don't know if Mike asked her or Susan to marry him as it went off in the last series at that point)

I hope trashy Michelle Collins doesn't get apart, she isn't anything like what you would see in that series.

I also heard that Jennifer Aniston was inline for a role.

The former EastEnders actress recently announced that she had auditioned for a role in ABC's Desperate Housewives after being granted an American visa. She is now expected to fly back out to Los Angeles for a second meeting with producers after impressing them during the casting call.
