I dont mean names of our pets, there's already a thread asking that. I mean pet names (term of endearment) given to us by a loved one.

Mine was Smidgewull.....don't ask cos i haven't got the foggiest.

The pet name most folk use for me is 'The Twit' with an 'a' instead of the 'i'.

Ah well. What can I say?

My Dad's always called me 'Duchess' as my nickname.

I used to find it irritating as a teenager, thinking it made me sound like I was an ancient dowager, but I've grown to really like it.

I suspect it might relate to my overblown sense of dignity and/or my occasional diva-like behaviour! :D

Lulu, Lutine, Zee, and now, Beanie.

Dad used to call me Bush, Litty, Madamoosel (which I only realised a few weeks ago was him goofing around with Mademoiselle, and I lived in France for 8 yrs!).

I get E, Ebeth, Elspeth, Elsinore, Elzevir, Lil, Betsy, Vieille Louise, depends on who's talking to me. It's a nightmare siging Christmas cards, got to remember what everyone calls me.

Got called Cauliflower and Madam Woodpecker at junior school. Bizoire...

Kids are Small Sausagey Type Person (Felix), Feelipops, Fluff and Andorra gets Egglette most of the time.
