Just wondering how old everyone was when they had their last baby, as I want one and looking for mr right first and getting on a bit!

Hi am i am 31 an ad my last child when i was 28 but my cousin is 37 and she is epeting her first an wants more after so do u no what its upto u its how old u feel an if u could cope so its up to u and nobody else any way u didnt say how old u was

I had my 1st at 25, pregnant with 2nd one now at 27 and if all goes to plan, we will have our 3rd and last one when I will be around 32-33.

i had my 1st at 36,and plan on having another soon i,m 38 now.i dont think it matters how old you are as long as you feel ready for children its up to you.alot of my friends had them young and are now having them again in thier 30,s.

I'm 36 and hubbie is 39 and we're trying for our first - wasn't ready before now to have children

I had my son at 16, and had two MC since him :)

It doesnt matter anymore about age, woman of 70 are having babies.. Girls of 13 are!

Had my fourth and last daughter when i was 30 but know lots of families who started at that age. Dont think it really matters . There are pros and cons either way.

I had my first at 18 which seems old these days but only because of the new generation having kids in their mid teens!
I had another 5 years later and then my last at 30 which was last year.
It's all down to personal choice, I chose to have my kids and then "get my life back" when they get old enough but don't see owt wrong with "having a life" first then having kids later on.

I think it all depends on the person, I was 42 when I had my first, 45 when I had my second and it's great :love:

I was 16 when i had my son was my first and will be my last! :) i am now 19. though i know people who have had them in their late 30's early 40's, as people above have said age doesn't matter it's if your fit and capable of looking after them and being a good parent!

I had my first at 20 second at 34 and last one at 37, definatly feel I make more time for the little two than I did for the eldest.

My OH was 38 when we had our daughter, neither of us felt ready to have kids prior to that.

I was nearly 36 when I had my first and only child. As others have said I wasnt ready previously.

It does not bother me or my husband, my son is still too young to know any better. I have been called his nana three times which infuriates me in fact it happened at the dentist just this morning also once at the hospital and once by another mum at nursery.

I proud myself on being a good mum and am able to all the things that a younger mother would do. I also like to think I have more patience now than when I was younger which makes me a better mother now then I probably would have been at 21.

I was 2 days off my 21st birthday when I had our Son & almost 27 when I had our Daughter 5 years ago. I'm 32 now & so glad I had them young (ish!!)

i was 17 when i had my daughter, i am 20 now. i wont be having anymore, too much hard work, love to spoil her too :) it doesnt matter about age, my mum was 40 when she had me :)

I was 19 when I had my first and 22 when I had my last, I think the older you are the more experience you have behind you but having a baby for the first time is a new, exciting and scary event at any age and therefore it really makes little differece to your age as long as you feel ready.-+

I had my first at age 19 and my last at age 43. I'd have another one but OH doesn't want another. No-one's ever called me his gran (not to my face anyway!). When I took my little grandson out recently someone thought he was mine so I guess I don't look too old to have a baby of my own.

I love this comment! I sometimes feel like that and I have four! Had my first at 22 and last at 30.

I was 36 when I got pregnant with my youngest, and moaned to the doctor that I was too old - she told me she had seen a lady that morning who was 49 and had thought she was in the menopause but instead she was pregnant!

I was 20 when i got pregnant with my daughter. It was the age i hoped to have my first child, as long as i was settled with the right man. I'm now 21 and shes 7 weeks old and its bloody tough but it is worth every second of it, especially when they laugh or start to crawl, its so rewarding.

41 and yes I am Knackered!!!!!

Third I was 34

My body is worn out and I don't think I will be having any more!! :D

I'm planning on having my last child when im around 35. We've said 2 years before we try for number two which with put around 3 years between my first and second. Then a three year break before we try again so there will be a four year gap between the second and third and then two years before we try again...

Mind you i say that lol, i had my daughter 8 weeks ago and im wondering if im gonna stop if my next child is a boy lol.

I was 23 when i had my first and 30 when i had my second and last . My parents were 40 + when they had me and i always wished i had younger parents (i love them loads and they have been fantastic parents) but it was difficult having older parents when i was a teenager. My daughter has had to deal with grandparents dying of old age when she was only 6 which was hard for her . I think it is a selfish choice to have your children when you are older as people dont really give to much thought to the long term effects. this is just my opinion from my experiences and i am looking forward to only been in my forties when my daughter is in her twenties!!!

It's nice if you're able to plan specifically when to have your children, unfortunately life is not always that easy for most of us.
I too had older parents and wished they were younger but I think these days we are all younger in our outlook than older generations. Looking at photographs of my parents in their thirties and forties they looked SO much older.
I just thank God that I had my kids, at any age, the future I can't do anything about.

i just had my 4th baby at the age of 36 and if i met a new man and it was right for us i would happliy have more kids if your fit and healthy then age shouldnt matter at all

I had my son when I was 23 and found out a month ago that I'm expecting the second. I'm 34 now, will be just 35 when it's born.
