can any one help with a small problem i have?
im having to constantly defrag my computer every day, the performance map on my defragger shows nearly all files bright red, i can defrag it run media player for two hours and its back red again (doesnt really matter which software i run). I am using diskeeper 9 defragger but i still had the same problem when i used windows defragger ( it still does it even after the hard drive has been formatted) any ideas anyone? :confused:

hard drive on the way out?
filesystem fux0r3d?

those are the worse case scenarios mind :P

try reinstalling windaz over itself? see if the filesystem sorts its sen out

Are you experiencing any problems that make you think you need to defragment your HD?
If you defrag too often you will actually lose speed due to the pre fetcher lists not having time to build up. I wouldn't recommend defragging any more than once a week, preferably once every 2-3 weeks.
