The chain has just broke off my boyfriends bike and he dosent have one of them fancy tooks that fixes them. Anyone have any idea about how we can fix it?

The 'fancy tool' is for pushing the rivet out and back in again.

Very careful use of a hammer, nail of the right size and a block of wood with a hole in it can be a succesful alternative.

A chain can usually stand shortening by one link but if you are doing a lot of cycling you should look to getting a new replacement chain as soon as possible.

A Chain tool should cost no less than £5 from your local bike shop.

For a cheap one, that is. From there its easy.
