Anyone live on this street or surrounding area. Off to veiw house there and would just like to know a little about it. Thanks in advance for any info.

i know a couple of crack addicts that live on fir street, apart from that and the drive by last year it seems ok. especially since they moved the prostitutes on as well.

He's avin you on. Fir St is bril. You'll need some energy to climb road though as it's v steep!! Lovely place to live.

Its nice and quiet. Good sized houses and good neighbours

The two big issues with Fir Street are that it really could do with a cable car to get to the top of it, and the junction out on to South Road can be a little bit dangerous because it's set back behind the building to the right of the junction as you turn out onto the main road, meaning that you're blind to the traffic coming out of town direction until you're pulled out quite a way into the junction.

Other than that it's a quiet little street in a nice community :)

Not to mention the community centre.....100 years old this year, and the home to the fabulous Cabaret Boom Boom!
