Go out on Ecclesall Road, Rustlings Road and then into Bingham Park and Whiltely Woods. Its tarmac until you reach Hangingwater, after that its a well surfaced cinder track. You can then continue to Forge Dam and all the way out to Ringinglow if you are feeling fit. It gets steep towards the end (Porter Clough).
Try www.cyclesheffield.org.uk
You can also pick up the Trans Pennine trail at Meadowhall.
There is a Sheffield Cycle Map, contact andy.wild@sheffield.gov.uk for a copy

When you get to the top of the Clough - which way do you turn to get to redmires? Right I guess - I remember having to look out for a tower????

Go to the top left onto Foxhall Lane and then right at the T junction onto Fulwood Lane, there's a house on the corner. Left takes you to Ringinglow.
You can download a Cycling map here

Yes there is, just off Redmires Rd after the junction with Fulwood Lane on the right. I think there's a car park and a track down to the A57. Just watch for walkers, it can get very busy at weekends.

Hello all
I guess that this is probably a lower level than what you're after, but my organisation, Pedal Ready, run rides on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays out of Endcliffe, High Hazels and Hillsborough Parks. They're all funded by the council, so they're free to go on, and you can borrow bikes if you want to. I'd really appreciate it if you could pass the word around - if anyone's interested, get in touch with me - I'm Georgia - at Pedal Ready on 0114 2412 775.
Cheers
Georgia
Derwent Dams are always a goody. Hire or take your own bikes.
